You will be the coach on the playing field, providing leadership and guidance to our team members. You lead by example and inspire your team to deliver top results. Your approach is collaborative and offers a forum where everyone feels comfortable to bring forward new ideas. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAs an Assistant Supervisor you will:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAct as a champion for our culture and lead your operations team in the development and execution of a positive and productive environment that permeates through all levels and is focused on the needs of our people and consistent with our Leadership Values.\r\n\tWork closely with the team members to deliver winning results to meet both daily and weekly production schedules\r\n\tParticipate in on-site audits for FSQA, Health & Safety, and Human Resources requirements.\r\n\tResolve employee issues through counselling sessions, investigations or grievance meetings as needed.\r\n\tActive participant in daily team meetings.\r\n\tCollaborate with cross functional teams such as FSQA, Reliability, Sanitation, Materials, Finance, and Human Resources.\r\n\tFoster a positive employee relationship by treating all employees with respect, listening to their concerns and provide a timely response where needed.\r\n\tFacilitate safety talks and task observations in the pursuit of continuous improvement.\r\n\tAdministration duties such as payroll, scheduling and shift reports.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you will bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPost-Secondary education\r\n\tA few years of comparable work experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment\r\n\tPersonable demeanor with a knack for communication\r\n\tProgressive leader\r\n\tTeam Player\r\n\tSystem savvy and very comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n
