AgHires continues a strong growth trajectory, and we’re seeking a Recruiting & Talent Development Manager, remote-based, to support the continued expansion of our recruiting division. In this multifaceted role, you would be leading a team of 10+ recruiters who specialize in direct placement searches, ranging from professional to C-suite, roles across the US and Canada.

As our Recruiting & Talent Development Manager, you'll be the go-to problem solver, supporting your team in navigating client challenges with confidence and creativity. You’ll spend your time coaching recruiters to reach their full potential, driving performance through smart KPI analysis. Your goal will be to create and maintain a strong pipeline of talent to support the continued growth and success of our recruiting team.
An impactful candidate will bring:
- Broad agricultural knowledge across sectors such as crop inputs, livestock and animal nutrition, food production, biosciences, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), and horticulture
- Proven success managing teams of 10+ employees, within recruiting, sales, or relatable professional services
- Strong client management experience
- Bachelor’s degree required

Focus areas :
- Team Management & Coaching
- Lead and support a remote team of recruiters, ensuring optimal alignment of workload and capabilities
- Be a go-to mentor to the recruiters as they grow as consultants and foster team collaboration
- Conduct all internal hiring for the recruitment team and maintain a continuous pipeline of candidates
- Lead the associate training program, focusing on candidate and client management development within a pre-established program.
- Operational Excellence & Strategy
- Analyze KPIs and team metrics to optimize productivity and ensure achievement of performance targets
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to enhance SOPs, training materials, and onboarding frameworks

- Support strategic initiatives that position AgHires for long-term expansion and innovation
- Client Engagement
- Participate in key intake calls and client meetings for complex or high-priority engagements
- Partner with the sales team to align service delivery with client expectations and business objectives
