Help SMEs determine if their permits can be completed electronically and determine approval workflow;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with quarterly lab inspection tracking and reporting;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBecome familiar with Lock Out Tag Out Regulations and Program;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tValidate Equipment Specific Procedures and audit Lock Out Tag Out program requirements;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with Machine Guard Assessments to confirm compliance;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with Alternative Controls Safe Access to Machinery Program;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with Contractor Guest database and validation of contractor approval status;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with digitalization of High-Risk Work Permits (Confined Space, Excavation, Aerial Lift, Elevated Work, Hot Work, Mobile Crane, Breaking into Pipelines);\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProvide Job Safety Analysis Program support;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProvide documentation and file storage administrative support;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with planning Health and Safety employee engagement events (examples include Health and Safety Day vendor fair, blood drives, or incident prevention campaigns).\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tWHO YOU ARE\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPursuing an undergraduate degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene and/or Environmental Engineering/Compliance. A Safety & Emergency Preparedness emphasis is a plus;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCompletion of college sophomore or junior year;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tClasses completed in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering/Compliance will be beneficial;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to work within a team environment and semi independently after receiving direction on work projects;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBasic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new software programs;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tOrganization, time management, and attention to detail;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWillingness to learn.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tEmployees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $24.20 to $30.50. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
