Your efforts drive market share growth through the adoption of Bayer products on the farm, including Seed, Chemistry, and Climate products and services. You are responsible for achieving annual targets with assigned growers, supporting National Brands, and selling the entire Bayer portfolio. This position is local in scope and requires significant travel, fostering face-to-face interactions with growers and stakeholders.\r\n\r\n\tYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCollaborate with Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Key Retailers to develop a comprehensive Bayer portfolio business plan, targeting 30-35 growers with over 3,500 acres of crops, to achieve financial sales targets;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBuild and nurture relationships with large growers by providing product selection and placement recommendations;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDeliver agronomic whole farm solutions and advice, covering Seed, Chemistry, Digital Solutions, and Services;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEstablish yourself as a trusted advisor by staying informed on agricultural research and whole farm methods, including responsibility for trials related to the Bayer Portfolio with targeted growers;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWork collaboratively with Bayer squad team members and various functions within Bayer s Crop Science organization to ensure targets are met;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDrive market share growth of Bayer products through regular sales calls to assigned growers, collaborating with retail and squad personnel to meet grower sales targets;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tStrategize and recommend innovative ways to enhance business results to Leadership;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tConnect internally with company peers to gain alignment and support for resolving programs, situations, and issues;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tUnderstand and influence growers business objectives, including KPIs and relevant customer targets;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMonitor grower account inventory progress, track planned activities, and identify new issues or opportunities throughout the year;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tManage an annual SG&A budget and all program expenditures;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tTravel approximately 60% of the time, with significant face-to-face customer interaction.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWHO YOU ARE:\r\n\r\n\tBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAgility in communication to effectively interact with organizations or individuals, balancing and building relationship dynamics;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to articulate company practices related to current and future products and corporate initiatives;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrated strategic thinking capability in prior experience, using business insights for decision-making;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDigital fluency with industry tools and a desire to use data-driven decisions to grow the business;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tStrong analytical, influence, innovative sales, and negotiation skills, with documented ability to drive results;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExcellent facilitation, presentation, written communication, and conflict management skills;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to quickly build strategic relationships and influence customer behavior, both internally and externally;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPosition requires driving for the company, potentially falling under DOT/FMCSA jurisdiction, which may involve hauling trailers, products, supplies, or equipment safely;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExperience with sales teams and remote teams.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPreferred Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBachelor's degree in an agriculture-related discipline, business, or an appropriate related field;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMinimum of 5 years of relevant agriculture experience in agronomy, technology, sales, or marketing, or other education level with 9 years of relevant experience;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMaster's in Agronomy.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEmployees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $89,600.00- $134,400.00 .Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
