\r\n\r\nJob ID: R2000618134 \r\n \r\n\r\nJob Description:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You'll Do:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvide strong professional customer service and act as frontline HR representative to assist in resolving or directing union colleague and supervisor questions or concerns.\r\n\tProvide administrative support for Human Resources department supporting the DC.\r\n\tAdminister and follow up on various critical union processes such as but not limited to, leave of absences, attendance support program and union job bidding process, vacation bidding process, and colleague referrals.\r\n\tActively participate in recruiting and selection process for new employees including conducting pre-screen telephone interviews, scheduling in person interviews, extending job offers, assisting with the coordination of new-hire orientations / onboarding processes, and providing other administrative functions.\r\n\tSource out and attend career fairs for recruitment purposes and to promote Loblaw as a Great Place to Work.\r\n\tProcess criminal record check forms for potential new hires.\r\n\tWork closely with Operations for the various union processes keeping key stake holders updated on follow ups.\r\n\tPrepare communication and/or updates a variety of reports, including but not limited to the following: weekly headcount report and leaves data, headcount numbers, ad hoc HR general reports, and weekly LOA reports.\r\n\tEstablish and maintain strong employee relationships by being involved in the planning of meeting, events, and culture and inclusion celebrations in the DC.\r\n\tAssist Sr. HR Coordinator and Sr. HR Business Partner with research, analysis and implementation of programs, reports, and projects. \r\n\tOther duties as required.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You Bring: \r\n\r\n\r\n\tPost-secondary education preferably in Human Resources or related field and obtained (or working towards) HR Management Certification.\r\n\t1-3 years HR experience, recruiting and/or coordinating departmental programs and initiatives is a definite asset.\r\n\tPrevious experience within Supply Chain is an asset.\r\n\tExperience working within a unionized environment is an asset.\r\n\tFamiliarity with job search websites (ie, Indeed, LinkedIn), recruitment software (ie, Workday Recruitment) and video conferencing platforms (ie, Microsoft Teams) is an asset. \r\n\tStrong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information.\r\n\tSolid digital literacy required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) a definite asset.\r\n\tExcellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills. \r\n\tColleague focused and able to champion positive colleague relations.\r\n\tHighly organized and has a high degree of attention to detail.\r\n\tStrong analytical skills and superior ability to problem-solve.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
