\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Opportunity:\r\n\r\nThe Manager, Category Finance role is responsible for supporting the retail marketing team, with ad hoc requests and analysis that provide key insights to support fact-based decision making. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCommercial Support: Proactively supporting commercial teams in projects (new product launches) as main finance lead. Ensure that all analyses completed are ‘value-added’ and align to the Business Unit’s Priorities. Become a true business partner by ensuring that you are involved in the key commercial priorities – strategy sessions, budgeting, new product launches, and pricing decisions (ad hoc analysis).\r\n\tManaging a direct report: Responsible for the growth and development of their direct report (financial analyst), while also acting as a mentor for other SFA’s on the team.\r\n\tForecast and Budget: co-ordinate forecasts and budget reviews for volume and margins with the marketing team and ensure all required adjustments are flowed through accurately to reflect objectives/targets for the category.\r\n\tWeekly Reporting.
