Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Veterinary Compliance Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee compliance processes, protocols, and training programs to ensure our clients adhere to OSHA, DEA, and other regulatory standards relevant to veterinary practices.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in compliance or veterinary operations, is comfortable managing enterprise-level accounts, and has the professionalism to represent our brand in online meetings, webinars, and client trainings. This role requires someone who is eager to grow with the organization and expand into increased responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Oversight
- Develop, implement, and maintain veterinary compliance processes, focusing on OSHA, DEA controlled substance regulations, and state/provincial safety requirements.
- Conduct compliance assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
- Oversee documentation control, audit preparation, and incident reporting processes.
Training & Education
- Design and deliver online compliance training materials, SOPs, and educational content for clients.
- Host training sessions and workshops via Zoom/Teams with confidence and strong presentation skills.
Enterprise Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for mid-sized to enterprise veterinary groups, ensuring exceptional ongoing support.
- Build long-term relationships with client decision-makers (practice managers, medical directors, operations leads).
- Track compliance progress, follow up on deliverables, and identify opportunities to expand service offerings.
Marketing & Growth Support
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to:
- Develop thought-leadership content (blogs, presentations, webinars).
- Contribute to marketing campaigns centered on safety, compliance, and regulatory updates.
- Represent the company at virtual conferences, online events, and industry forums.
- Provide feedback on market needs, product opportunities, and client trends.
Internal Collaboration
- Work across departments to ensure client needs are met and training resources stay current.
- Support improvements to internal processes, client materials, and compliance tools.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of veterinary compliance standards, including OSHA, DEA, and controlled substance management.
- Experience developing and implementing compliance protocols.
- Prior success in account management, client success, or enterprise-level client coordination.
- Strong presentation skills with a genuine desire to connect with people online via Zoom/Teams.
- Marketing or content-creation experience (blogging, webinar hosting, short-form content, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, analytical, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in veterinary medicine, veterinary operations, or animal health is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Business, Communications, or a related field.
