We promote leaders at every level and support our people to follow their passion.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you will do:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDirect daily activity to ensure productivity, safety and schedules are maintained\r\n\tReview the workload and plan the correct sequence for the assembly, shipping and receiving of products\r\n\tEnsure proper handling of products to ensure our customers receive quality merchandise\r\n\tProvide direction and coaching\r\n\tCreate positive union relations\r\n\tPerformance management of colleagues while adhering to the Collective Agreement\r\n\tMaintain integrity of inventory according to the inbound and outbound activity\r\n\tEnsure the safety and security of the distribution centre\r\n\tSupport the Distribution Center in setting targets by participating in or leading performance improvement objectives\r\n\tEstablish and maintain high personal involvement, accessibility, and visibility to Distribution employees\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you will need:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or supervisory role\r\n\tAbility to build professional relationships and gain credibility with a diverse work force\r\n\tAble to work in a fast-paced environment\r\n\tExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use and access resources\r\n\tExcellent attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize workload\r\n\tWorking knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)\r\n\tAble to work varies shifts including weekends\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nLoblaw is committed to sustainability by sourcing products with integrity and making a positive difference in the community.
