Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join a busy small animal hospital team that supports both routine and more advanced cases. This role is suitable for newly qualified nurses as well as those with experience, with tailored support and training available to match your stage of career.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high standards of inpatient care, including monitoring, nursing plans and record keeping
- Supporting surgical lists through patient preparation, anaesthetic monitoring and post-operative care
- Running and assisting with nurse clinics, such as post-op checks, weight management and preventative health
- Working closely with the wider team to coordinate cases and maintain a smooth flow through the hospital
Qualifications Needed:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Veterinary Council of Ireland, or eligible for registration before starting
- Open to applications from both new graduates and experienced nurses with a passion for small animal work
- Strong team ethic, with a willingness to ask questions, share ideas and support colleagues
- Good interpersonal skills, with a kind and professional approach to clients and their pets
