Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established general practice team with a strong focus on high-quality medicine, surgery and client communication. This role will suit a confident general practitioner who enjoys taking ownership of cases and appreciates the support of experienced colleagues and modern equipment.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out general consultations, preventative healthcare and follow-up appointments
- Performing routine surgeries and dental procedures with attention to detail and safety
- Using in-house imaging and laboratory facilities to investigate and monitor cases
- Working collaboratively with the clinical and nursing team to deliver consistent, joined-up care
Qualification Needed:
- Registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland and experience in small animal practice
- Competence in routine operations and everyday medical case management
- Comfort discussing clinical options with clients in a clear, empathetic manner
- An interest in expanding skills in imaging or another clinical discipline, if desired
