Expressions of Interest for upcoming opportunities (
casual seasonal work) to join Yates as a Help & Advice Horticultural Consultant - a key role that brings the Yates brand to life for gardeners across Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing friendly, expert gardening advice to home gardeners and retail customers
- Supporting consumers across phone, email, live chat, ticketing systems, and social platforms
- Troubleshooting product questions and resolving concerns with warmth and professionalism
- Maintaining high service standards and ensuring accurate, timely follow-ups
- Contributing ideas and insights to our technical and marketing teams

What We're Looking for
- Qualifications in Horticulture and experience in customer-facing environments such as retail, nursery, sales, or service
- A friendly, professional manner and a genuine passion for helping others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and calm
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
