As Corporate Affairs Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and protecting Royal Canin’s reputation across our International Division (4 hubs, 115 countries). You will lead the Corporate Affairs agenda by driving impactful strategies across Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Health Affairs and Crisis Management, in line with our purpose: A Better World for Pets.
This is a highly strategic and visible role, acting as a trusted partner to leadership teams and key external stakeholders. You will help position Royal Canin as a thought leader in pet health and nutrition, while ensuring our voice is consistent, credible and aligned with business priorities.
Your scope will include:
Building and protecting corporate reputation (media relations, issues & crisis management, community engagement)
Leading Health Affairs strategies to support business growth and scientific credibility
Shaping favorable public policies through stakeholder engagement and advocacy
Driving internal communications to inform, engage and inspire our Associates across the organization
Defining and deploying the Corporate Affairs strategy for the International Division, with clear priorities, initiatives and KPIs
In this role, you will act as the guardian of Royal Canin’s external reputation, while mobilizing internal teams around our strategic objectives and long-term vision.
What are we looking for?
Minimum 5 years of experience in people management, within complex and international environments.
Proven experience in Corporate Affairs, ideally in emerging markets.
Strong background in corporate communications and reputation management.
Demonstrated diplomacy and advocacy skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders, importers and KOLs.
Recognized leadership, interpersonal and influence skills, with the ability to build alignment and consensus.
Strong team player, able to collaborate across functions, cultures and geographies.
Fluent in English; French and/or Spanish are strong assets.
University degree in Communications, Veterinary Science or another biological science; an MBA or a Master’s degree is highly desirable.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Your main responsibility is to drive Royal Canin’s corporate and thought leadership reputation in Health & Nutrition, across internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for:
Developing and promoting strong thought leadership positioning in pet health and nutrition.
Leading Health Affairs and scientific education initiatives to support business priorities, demand and growth ambitions.
Proactively and reactively managing issues and crisis, in close partnership with leadership teams.
Driving stakeholder engagement and reinforcing Royal Canin’s credibility and influence.
Promoting Associate engagement through clear, inspiring internal communications.
Building and developing a strong talent pipeline for the Corporate Affairs function.
Ensuring an outstanding experience for consumers and partners when they interact with Royal Canin.
