Hensall Co-op is seeking a Poultry Feed Sales Representative to assist our Feed Sales team. The Poultry Feed Sales Rep is a motivated self-starter who can create long-term relationships with customers to meet sales goals and organizational objectives. This is a full-time position reporting to the Hensall location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within the poultry sector
- Grow and maintain existing accounts to achieve sales targets
- Maintain detailed and accurate account records and sales forecasts
- Monitor market conditions, competitor offerings and industry trends
- Manage and coordinate pricing, quotes, contracts and agreements with management
- Willingness to attend trade shows and participate in training sessions to increase knowledge and productivity
- Provide guidance on poultry nutrition, feeding programs, and product usage
- Conduct regular farm visits to monitor customer needs, performance, and buying patterns
- Work alongside feed mill, logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and plans, regular sales reports, territory updates and forecasts
- Able to professionally represent Hensall Co-op at industry meetings
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with poultry producers and industry stakeholders
- Develop sales targets and implement plans to achieve them
- Work with feed nutritionists to develop individualized animal nutrition plans to meet individual customer needs
- Keep up to date with competitors’ activities and market trends
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, providing technical support as required
- Understand and follow all HC Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education in an agricultural related program
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Knowledge of industry and poultry husbandry considered an asset
- Valid G driver’s license required
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with poultry feed products and customers
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers and suppliers
- High degree of technical knowledge in livestock feed, nutrition, and new technologies
- Strategic selling and negotiation skills
