Field Manager
Job Description:
To drive sales, adoption, and market penetration of our Animal Health division’s animal monitoring technology solutions by engaging dairy farmers, large commercial farms, cooperatives, institutions, and channel partners, while delivering value through technology-led herd management.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell animal monitoring solutions (activity, heat detection, health monitoring, productivity tools)
Identify new business opportunities with dairy farms, organized farms, FPOs, cooperatives, and integrators
Achieve assigned sales targets (volume, revenue, and coverage)
Conduct farm visits, product demos, trials, and pilot projects
Customer Education & Support
Explain technology benefits in simple, practical terms to farmers and farm managers
Support onboarding, basic training, and coordination with technical/service teams
Ensure customer satisfaction, renewals, and long-term engagement
Channel & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with distributors, dealers, veterinarians, and influencers
Support marketing activities such as farmer meetings, expos, and field days
Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain accurate sales data, MCL updates, and visit reports
Share competitor insights, pricing trends, and farmer feedback with management
Qualification, Experience & Education
Experience
1–4 years of experience in animal health, dairy inputs, farm equipment or technology sales
Freshers with strong dairy/farm exposure and sales aptitude may also be considered
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to explain digital tools and technology in farmer-friendly language
Willingness to travel extensively in rural and semi-urban areas
Basic understanding of dairy farming operations and animal health
Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and digital reporting tools
