Your
missions :
Perform and supervise advanced laboratory analyses in virology, microbiology, cell culture, and molecular biology (e.g., viral isolation and characterization, qPCR, ELISA).
Conduct studies on pathogenicity, immunogenicity, and genetic variability.
Ensure traceability and integrity of generated data.
Standardize and validate diagnostic techniques for infectious diseases.
Lead and conduct scientific investigations and molecular epidemiology studies.
Prepare technical reports and present conclusions to multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing technical support.
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation projects.
Collaborate effectively with Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and R&D areas to resolve complex issues.
Participate in project meetings and coordinate/inform other departments when necessary.
Your
profile :
Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields.
Postgraduate degree (Master’s and/or Ph.D.) in virology, microbiology, or related areas.
Min 3 years of practical experience in laboratory diagnostics and scientific investigation.
Solid knowledge in virology, cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology techniques, viral titration, ELISA, virus neutralization, and molecular epidemiology.
Proficiency in English and Portuguese (oral and written).
Knowledge of laboratory biosafety and pathogen handling.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (GMP, GLP, ISO 17025).
Knowledge of veterinary pharmaceutical product legislation (MAPA).
