What we’re looking for:
- A strong desire to work with swine and perform animal husbandry tasks daily
- Previous leadership experience in a farrowing department preferred, or at least 2 years of experience as an animal caretaker in a commercial swine farrowing facility
- A solid work history with reliable references
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
- Availability to work 5 days per week, every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday), and holidays
- Respectful, team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on animal welfare and safety

- Frequently bend, reach, pull, and lift; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable working in environments with dust, odors, livestock manure, noise, and temperature extremes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting
This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role where your experience and dedication truly make an impact - both on the team and the animals in your care.
