We’re currently hiring a Wean to Finish Manager to join our swine production team in Reynolds, IN. This is a full-time leadership position where you’ll oversee the daily operations of the farm, ensuring animal health, team coordination, and efficient production from weaning through market.

What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing daily operations of the wean-to-finish site while following all company SOPs
- Practicing and enforcing farm biosecurity to protect herd health
- Caring for the daily well-being of the swine, including feeding, watering, health treatments, vaccinations, and mortality management
- Monitoring animal health, identifying illness, and proactively administering treatments or medications
- Frequently moving pigs of various sizes through aisles and chutes
- Working with a marketing crew to sort, move, and load market hogs onto semi trailers
- Communicating daily with the feed mill manager regarding feed bin inventory and needs
- Maintaining accurate records and submitting weekly reports in a timely manner
- Ensuring a safe work environment and following all safety best practices
- Working alongside team members as needed to complete daily tasks
- Keeping facilities clean, organized, and operating efficiently
- Providing insight and recommendations to management on operational improvements
- Communicating daily with the Farm Manager and assisting with additional tasks as needed
What we’re looking for:
- A strong desire to work with swine and perform animal husbandry tasks daily
- Willingness to learn and understand animal behavior and production flow
- Previous experience managing a wean-to-finish operation preferred, or at least 2 years of experience as an animal caretaker in a commercial swine facility
- A solid work history with reliable references
- Ability to work independently while staying organized and on task
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work 5 days per week, every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday), and holidays
Physical & work environment expectations:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, and remain on your feet for up to 9 hours per day
- Comfortable working several hours independently while caring for animals
- Frequently bending, reaching, pulling, and lifting; occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working around livestock, dust, odors, manure, noise, and temperature extremes
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain respect for both team members and animals
This is a hands-on management role for someone who takes pride in doing things right and keeping operations running smoothly from start to finish.
