AgRevolution is hiring a Shop Technician to join our team in Urbana, OH (about 35 miles northeast of Dayton). In this role you will be supporting farmers and advancing modern agriculture by ensuring equipment is repaired efficiently and reliably.

What you will be doing:

Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing agriculture equipment, farm machinery, and component assemblies in a shop setting.
Develop repair plans and sequences, determine required parts, materials, and tooling, and perform repairs safely and accurately.
Conduct quality assurance testing on repaired components, systems, and machines to ensure proper performance.
Complete work in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Generate, maintain, and complete all required documentation, including service reports, work orders, parts requests, technical reports, and warranty claims.
Use and interpret service manuals, technical data, blueprints, and diagnostic tools to analyze and resolve equipment issues.
Order, retrieve, and return parts and materials using the company’s parts ordering system.
Utilize company computer systems to manage work processes, documentation, and reporting.
Properly use, retrieve, and maintain special tools and major shop equipment, including air compressors, cleaning tanks, overhead cranes, and jib cranes.
Maintain care of company assets and promote a safe, organized shop environment.
Build positive working relationships with co-workers, customers, vendors, suppliers, and visitors through professional and constructive interactions.

This job is for you if you have:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar technician or mechanic role.
Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Agriculture Equipment, Farm Machinery, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or off-road equipment.
Strong working knowledge of diagnostic tools, test equipment, and repair techniques.
Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
