With some 20,000 acres dedicated to dryland cropping, the business is recognised as a prominent regional employer and is focused on sustained growth, adaptability and best-practice agriculture in an evolving industry.

Reporting directly to the owners, the Farm Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the cropping operation. The successful candidate will be independent and decisive, with a genuine passion for crop production and the ability to confidently manage people, machinery and seasonal pressures.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and progressively take on responsibility for coordinating the annual crop production program across approximately 20,000 acres of dryland farming.
- Develop capability across the full cropping cycle - including planning, soil management, pest and weed control, seeding and harvest.
- Take a greater leadership role with the on-farm team, supporting, supervising and mentoring permanent and seasonal staff while maintaining best practice and WHS standards.
- Assist with operating and maintaining farm machinery, while building oversight of equipment maintenance programs and providing mechanical support where required.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in extensive broadacre cropping from planning through to harvest.
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills with the capabilities to manage teams under pressure.
- Machinery operation expertise, mechanical aptitude and current chemical handling accreditation.
- Highly motivated, dependable and committed individual with the flexibility to work long seasonal hours.
