Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the veterinary team, ensuring high standards of clinical care across all services
n Develop and implement clinical protocols to support consistency and quality within the hospital
n Monitor medical performance and review case outcomes to drive continuous improvement
n Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development support to veterinary staff
n Collaborate with leadership teams to enhance operational efficiency and workflow
n Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians and external partners
n Support decision-making on complex clinical cases where required
n Contribute to strategic planning and long-term growth of the hospital

Qualifications Needed

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
n Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state of Texas
n Previous experience in a leadership or senior clinical role within a veterinary setting
n Background in emergency, specialty or high-volume clinical environments preferred
n Strong leadership, mentoring and team development skills
n Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
n Ability to manage clinical and operational responsibilities simultaneously
n Commitment to advancing clinical standards and fostering a positive team culture
