About the Role: To ensure the safe, reliable, and effective operation of all automated and non-automated warehousing materials handling equipment and systems to meet Almarai business requirements.
- Hands on repair and maintenance of automated material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and fix the electrical, electronic & mechanical faults.
- Assist the installation teams with the preparation and installation of automatic materials handling equipment.
- Supporting the operation with the recovery and resolution of all short term and long-term faults/stoppages.
- Breakdown resolution reporting and follow up,
Requirements:
- Must be holding bachelor’s degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience with industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
- Hands‑on knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider).
- Experience in control systems design, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
- Good verbal and written communication English skills.
- Must have competencies such as: Ability to plan and organize multiple activities simultaneously. Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Good interpersonal skills, Positive enthusiastic attitude towards work.
