Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The Veterinary Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals.

Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect and record client information accurately
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Provide information to clients regarding services, products, and general pet care
- Assist with animal handling when necessary

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling
