Thoel Farms is a progressive and growing business and is looking for an experienced motivated, self-dependent individual to add to their roster.
Starting pay is based on experience and will be adjusted (increased) upon completion of probationary period.
Swine husbandry (sows and piglets):
- Tasks include but are not limited to: Handling animals, monitoring animal health, processing litters, weaning, assisting with A.I. breeding, power washing (sow barn and nursery), following procedures of enhanced barn biosecurity, maintain and follow records, medicate animals and other general barn duties.
Located near Arthur, ON (sow barn and nursery) as well as Swinton Park, ON (sow barn currently under construction)
A G-drivers license is essential and reliable commute to work.
Looking for long term committed individuals with previous experience in sow barns.
