Job Overview How about working an average of 30 hours a week? How about leaving work no later than 4:00pm during the week, and, 2:00pm on the 1-2 Saturday mornings worked? No after hour emergencies.

We are a 2+1/2 Doctor practice. We offer dig. radiography, dig. dental radiography, U/S, an Idexx in house lab, hydraulic exam table for the big puppies, elecrosurgery, Midmark dentistry, and a very well equipped surgical suite. NO BOARDING. We average 2 techs per doctor. We were only the 2nd hospital in MD to receive a full 4 year certification from AAHA.

We enjoy working up all our internal medicine cases. All radiographs reviewed by AI. Complicated radiogrraphs reviewed by a radiologist. We use a boarded Internist (mobile practice) for difficult AUS cases.

Laurel is an affordable community located 30 minutes from Baltimore, 30 minutes from Washington, D.C. and 35 minutes from Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay. 3 hours from the Atlantic Ocean.

We offer: A

base salary of $130,000.00-150,000.00 against a % whichever is higher.Present assiciate earned well above the above range in 2024.

Senior Veterinarian, Dr. Bob Brenner: Dr. Bob has menotored some 50 veterinarians. He was our professions first TV doc, appearing in some 300 TV shows across the country including "Oprah".

He discovered Factor VIII deficiency in a cat and published his findings in JAVMA, co-authored with Dr. Jean Dodds.

He sat on the board of the tech college a served as a volunteer vet at the National Aquarium.

He established the first ER/Specialty hospital in P.G. county. He founded the Columbia Animal Hospital in Columbia, eventually selling it to Dr. David Tayman.

What we Require:

DVM, VMD) degree from an accredited institution and a current veterinary license from the state of Maryland.

Two years minimum experience in clinical practice.
Minimum surgical skill (spays, neuters and dentistries).
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health needs.
