Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals in Hillsborough, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Surgery Technician who is excited to grow their career in a state-of-the-art 19,000 sq. ft. facility. At RBVH Hillsborough, you’ll join a fun-loving, supportive team of highly skilled Technicians and Doctors across a wide range of specialties, including:

General Practice
Acupuncture
Internal Medicine
Cardiology
Critical Care
Radiology (radiograph/CT evaluation and outpatient ultrasound)
Surgery (soft tissue & orthopedic)
24-Hour Emergency Service

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in specialty or emergency medicine and be eager to advance their surgical skills.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a specialty or emergency hospital
Proficient in monitoring anesthesia
Ability to intubate patients
Skilled in IV catheter placement and phlebotomy (various sites)
Strong understanding of disease processes and treatment protocols
Experience with IV fluid pumps and medication calculations/administration
Capable of identifying subtle signs of pain, deterioration, or improvement in patients
Confidence in caring for and monitoring critically ill patients
CVT preferred
