Title: Field Technician for Alaso Poultry Equipment\r\n\r\nLocation: Varies\r\n\r\nService Area: United States\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDuties & Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvides equipment assembly training to the customers’ and building partners’ installation crew leads.\r\n\tAssists with site organization methodology and assembly process best practices.\r\n\tRegularly inspects the equipment during assembly.\r\n\tDocuments and reports discrepancies.\r\n\tAssists with part identification, shortages, overages and shipment verifications.\r\n\tActs as a liaison between the customer, Alaso, other contractors, and the project manager.\r\n\tRepresents the best interest of Alaso at all times.\r\n\tMaintains frequent contact with the main office to report discrepancies and discuss service problems.\r\n\tWrites and submits weekly service reports detailing work done and findings in the field.\r\n\tInstalls, inspects, services and repairs equipment in the field (after sales projects).\r\n\tCoordinates independent contract installation crews for repairs and rework.\r\n\tOffers suggestions to improve equipment assembly methods, reduce warranty, and improve customer satisfaction.\r\n\tInstructs farm personnel on the use and maintenance of equipment.\r\n\tConducts follow-up visits to installations to ensure proper system function.\r\n\tProvides after sale technical support and service as required.\r\n\tOther duties as assigned by supervisor.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t1-5 years’ service experience in poultry or livestock equipment.\r\n\tHigh level of technical aptitude including electrical and mechanical systems.\r\n\tProficient and diplomatic with oral and written communication with customers.\r\n\t80-100% travel required.\r\n\tWilling to work irregular hours including weekends if required.\r\n\tGeneral knowledge of common PC software including MS Word, MS Excel and e-mail.\r\n\tAbility to capture and transmit digital pictures via e- mail.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.\r\n
