About the Role:As part of our farm shop team, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and helping customers choose from our range of fresh meats.
While you don't need to be a qualified butcher,
experience working on a butchery counter is essential - you'll need to be confident identifying and handling various cuts of meat and advising customers accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers at the butchery counter with product selection and advice
- Preparing, weighing, and packaging meat products
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Restocking displays and ensuring counters are well-presented
- Supporting general shop duties including till work and stock rotation
About You:
- Previous experience working on a butchery counter is essential
- Good knowledge of meat cuts and preparation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
