Trackside Solutions is hiring a Traveling Field Support Technician to join our dynamic mobile team. This is a travel-focused, hands-on technical role supporting OEMs in the agricultural, construction, and industrial equipment sectors. You’ll typically be dispatched for 2–4 weeks at a time, and if you're assigned to one of our shop locations for an extended period, housing will be provided. There is no requirement to relocate as we’ll deploy you from your current location to various customer, dealer, factory, and testing locations across the U.S. wherever support is needed most.

We offer competitive hourly compensation of $26 - $30, Daily per diem during travel, health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation, bonuses, 401(k) with company match, and potential company vehicle for travel-based work.
What you will be doing:
- Frequently travel to OEM factories, dealer locations, customer sites, and test facilities
- Support prototype builds, product updates, and field campaigns
- Conduct hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and end-of-line troubleshooting
- Assist with equipment validation, data collection, and technical documentation
- Communicate findings and solutions with engineering and customer teams
- Represent Trackside Solutions with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset
This job is for you if you have:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
- Background working on agricultural, construction, or heavy industrial equipment preferred
- Experience in diagnostics, testing, prototype support, or field service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while traveling
- Familiarity with technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- High school diploma, technical school certificate, or college degree in a relevant field
- Willingness to travel frequently as part of your regular schedule (company vehicle may be provided)
- Team-first attitude with a strong work ethic
- Dependability, initiative, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to several weeks at a time)
