Job Description: Our client is seeking an Internal Medicine Specialist to join a large, purpose-built referral hospital in Western Sydney, working within a highly collaborative and values-driven multidisciplinary environment. This full-time permanent role has become available due to an existing specialist relocating overseas and offers the opportunity to step into an established, respected internal medicine service with a strong referral base.

The position sits within a hospital providing comprehensive specialist and emergency services, supported by a dedicated internal medicine intern, an exceptional team of experienced medicine nurses, and full on-site diagnostic capabilities. The role is structured around a four-day work week with no weekend or out-of-hours commitments, allowing specialists to focus on high-quality medicine while maintaining a sustainable work–life balance.

You will work alongside a team of Internal Medicine Specialists within a modern, open-plan facility designed to support efficient workflows, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications Needed:

Specialist qualification in Small Animal Internal Medicine (FANZCVS, ACVIM, or ECVIM)
Eligibility for veterinary registration in New South Wales, Australia
Strong interest in collaborative referral medicine and multidisciplinary care
Clear, empathetic communication with clients, colleagues, and referring veterinarians
Commitment to teamwork, inclusivity, and high clinical standards
