The Opportunity
The Senior Engineering Manager – Process / Design Engineering will lead the design, installation, and optimization of dairy processing systems across greenfield and brownfield projects. This role is responsible for driving end‑to‑end process engineering excellence, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygienic design standards, and operational efficiency, while supporting project execution and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Process engineering design and installation within dairy processing operations
- Strong understanding of dairy processing principles, including:
- Pasteurization, homogenization, fermentation, separation, aseptic processing, and packaging
- Solid foundation in process engineering fundamentals, including:
- Process sizing and equipment selection
- Mass & energy balance
- Heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and process control
- Proficient in:
- Process simulation tools
- CAD software for layouts and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of:
- Dairy hygienic design concepts
- CIP systems and protocols
- Engineering and food industry standards
