Purpose of Position : Responsible for the creation, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive marketing, communication, and advertising strategies that ensure the integrity of our brand and increase sales and market penetration through all distribution channels.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties :
Explore, evaluate, and lead marketing efforts to generate additional sales with distributors, dealers, and end-users through electronic marketing efforts, including but not limited to; pay-per-click advertising, e-blasts, e-coupons, web-based promotions, and other digital media. Enhance our access to and connection with end-users through the design and implementation of effective web strategies that build communities of like-minded individuals, brand loyalty, and create distributor pull-through of our products. Responsible for editorial control of all marketing and communications materials that are released on behalf of the company. Accountable for brand policy and compliance, in packaging, product positioning, promotions, trade shows, advertising, brand identity programs, and our web presence. Work in conjunction with our research, production, and sales teams to design and implement effective new product launches, distributor and dealer education, and positioning strategies. Effectively lead and support the Marketing Specialist to execute on traditional and digital campaigns, content creation, website management, and social media. Become a contributing member of the management team and serve as the “voice of the customer” to integrate customer intelligence and feedback into current operations and new product development. Actively participate in major trade shows, distributor meetings, and supplier and industry conferences alongside our production and sales teams to promote our products and establish long-standing relationships with key stakeholders and customers. Scope: Responsible for supporting annual sales of greater than $50 million and the administration of an annual marketing budget of $500 thousand.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Public Relations, or related field. Fast-Moving Customer Goods (FMCG) experience, B2B brand management experience, exceptional communication skills and 10 years of demonstrated experience in creating successful brand awareness and marketing campaigns in the agriculture field that support increased profitability.
