\r\n\r\nJob ID: R2000614794 \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Description:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead to lead our Cloud Automation and Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and policies to ensure the proper usage of our cloud resources, optimizing our cloud costs, and automating key processes across the organization.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYou will be a key member of the leadership team and will work closely with our other SRE and business teams to ensure that our platform strategy aligns with our overall enterprise goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for building and managing a team of SREs who are responsible for the day-to-day management of our cloud environment, including the development and maintenance of cloud platform services.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you will be doing\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDevelop and implement policies, process improvements, and automation for the proper usage of our cloud resources, including the management of access controls, security, and compliance.\r\n\tIdentify and implement cost optimization strategies to ensure that our cloud costs are optimized and in line with our business objectives.\r\n\tAutomate key processes across the organization to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.\r\n\tOwn end-to-end availability, performance, and incident management of platform services and associated automation.\r\n\tLead a team of talented Site Reliability Engineers responsible for the day-to-day management of our cloud environment, including the development and maintenance of platform services.\r\n\tMonitor and report on key metrics related to cloud usage, cost, and performance.\r\n\tStay up-to-date on industry trends and evolving threats, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you bring\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong emphasis on SRE as an engineering discipline with a focus on automation and cost optimization.\r\n\t3+ years of hands-on experience in writing infrastructure code, designing solutions using cloud technologies, and implementing SRE best practices.\r\n\tExperience with Cloud Adoption Frameworks and Architecture Frameworks of any of the major cloud providers.\r\n\t2+ years of experience managing people or teams, and leading projects.\r\n\tExcellent communication and social skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat Loblaw Offers You\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWe offer flexibility and balance, and an environment that sets you up for success no matter where your workspace is located.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHere, you will find a great team to help you achieve your goals as you help us achieve ours!
