\r\nJob Code : 32756 \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Description: \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAbout the role.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis role is for a senior technical expert who can design, build, and support cloud and edge (OT) infrastructure, lead migrations, ensure security and efficiency, and help others grow their cloud skills. This role will help teams adopt cloud technologies, ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and efficient, and support the organization’s cloud strategy. Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you’ll be doing.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDesign & Build: Create and improve cloud infrastructure solutions (using IaaS, PaaS, automation, and DevOps practices).\r\n\tCloud Migration: Lead or support projects moving systems to the cloud.\r\n\tCollaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, developers, and security specialists.\r\n\tSupport: Help resolve complex technical issues and support operational activities (like incident management and disaster recovery).\r\n\tInnovation: Research and prototype new tools and technologies to improve cloud platforms.\r\n\tMentorship: Share knowledge, mentor others, and help build cloud engineering skills across the organization.\r\n\tCost Management: Implement and optimize cloud cost management (FinOps).\r\n\tSecurity & Compliance: Ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards.\r\n\tDocumentation: Maintain clear records and documentation for all activities.\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\r\nWhat you’ll need to be successful.\r\n\r\nTechnical Skills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDeep experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, SAP Cloud).\r\n\tInfrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, ARM).\r\n\tAutomation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub).\r\n\tContainerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\r\n\tCloud networking, security, monitoring, and cost optimization.\r\n\tEdge/OT infrastructure (e.g., Azure HCI).\r\n\tProject Experience:\r\n\tCloud migration (data center to cloud, hybrid, cloud-native).\r\n\tDesigning scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.\r\n\tWorking with multiple teams and vendors.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSoft Skills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong communication and collaboration.\r\n\tAnalytical and problem-solving abilities.\r\n\tWillingness to mentor and continuously learn.\r\n\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEducation & Qualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).\r\n\t10+ years in similar roles.\r\n\tExperience implementing cloud at enterprise scale.\r\n\tCloud provider certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.\r\n\tExperience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk, or Edge cloud infrastructure is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAbout McCain.\r\n \r\n\r\nClick Here to learn more about McCain and how we provide you with opportunities to make an impact that matters.\r\n \r\n\r\nLeadership principles.\r\n \r\n\r\nAt McCain, our leadership principles guide how we engage with customers, collaborate as a team, and achieve success. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.\r\n
