This role requires excellent communication and time management skills.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You'll Do:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t Strategic Annual & Campaign Planning: Leading annual and campaign planning for Loblaw Media’s brand partners, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and advertising objectives.\r\n\tCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with account, data science, audience, and execution teams to translate brand objectives into integrated media strategies and programs.\r\n\tCampaign Management: Oversee day-to-day campaign strategy across planning, implementation, optimization, and reporting; act as liaison between clients and internal teams (Ad Ops, Creative, Production).\r\n\tStrategic Recommendations: Deliver timely strategic and tactical recommendations informed by Loblaw’s data and audience insights.\r\n\tTeam Development: Support the growth and training of Media Specialist team members through mentorship and collaborative development.\r\n\tFinancial & Operational Management: Partner with Finance and Ad Operations to manage forecasting, budget tracking, contracting, and resolution of billing issues.\r\n\tMarket & Industry Awareness: Develop knowledge of the marketplace, competitors, and emerging technologies to inform media planning and execution.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCore Competencies:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMedia Expertise: Proven ability to plan and execute media strategies across digital and traditional platforms, consistently aligning tactics with brand standards, KPIs, and business objectives.\r\n\tStrategic Planning: Skilled in developing both short- and long-term media plans that drive measurable business outcomes while adapting to changing priorities.\r\n\tAnalytical Rigor: Strong ability to conduct fact-based analysis, interpret complex data, and apply reasoned judgment to inform media decisions and optimize performance.\r\n\tBudget & Resource Management: Experienced in forecasting, allocating, and managing media budgets with a strong track record of fiscal responsibility.\r\n\tCreative Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying critical issues, resolving challenges with focus, and innovating with fresh, out-of-the-box solutions.\r\n\tAdaptability & Versatility: Comfortable shifting between strategy, planning, and hands-on account management while maintaining attention to detail and results.\r\n\tOrganization & Prioritization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver with urgency in fast-paced environments.\r\n\tCommunication & Influence: Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex ideas and inspire collaboration across teams and stakeholders.\r\n\tCollaboration & Leadership: Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and passion for collaboration, fostering positive partnerships to achieve collective goals.\r\n\tPerformance-Driven: Results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure, consistently driving outcomes that meet or exceed expectations.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You'll Bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t5+ years in an account management, media strategy role or in-platform management (CPG, Retail experience an asset)\r\n\tExperience in a client services type environment – leading end to end account support\r\n\tExperience with 360 Media Channels such as Meta Business Manager, DV360, Google Ads, etc. \r\n\tExperience in people leadership, guiding specialists in media strategy, goal setting and more. \r\n\tStrong grasp of marketing and media products in the marketplace while understanding marketing, creative & planning\r\n\tAbility to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines under pressure, prior project management experience is an asset\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
