\r\n\r\nLocation : UK - Extensive travel\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWe are seeking a highly skilled poultry specialist to deliver exceptional technical support across a diverse network of farms, including both company-owned and independent sites.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis is a senior position requiring a strong track record in poultry production and the ability to provide practical, hands-on solutions to complex challenges.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIn this role, you will work closely with farm managers to optimise performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices. Collaboration is key as you’ll liaise with vets and nutritionists to ensure the highest standards of flock health and productivity.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe position involves significant travel and overnight stays, so flexibility and a willingness to spend time on the road are essential. If you’re an experienced Area Manager, a seasoned technical support professional, or a farm manager ready to take the next step, this is a fantastic opportunity to move into a senior role where your expertise will make a real impact.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe role:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tVisit farms to troubleshoot issues and provide technical advice\r\n\tProvide high level customer support to non-company owned sites\r\n\tLiaise with farm workers, farm managers, area managers and senior management.\r\n\tWork closely with specialists such as Vets, Nutritionists and Hatchery support team.\r\n\tMaintain flock records\r\n\tEnsure CRM system is kept up to date\r\n\tRepresent the business at events and conferences\r\n\tSignificant travel \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAbout you:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSeveral years of experience in the poultry industry operating at a minimum of farm manager level\r\n\tStrong technical understanding of poultry production (Layers, broilers or breeders acceptable)\r\n\tAble to troubleshoot complex production problems and provide solutions\r\n\tAble to communicate effectively with customers and people of all levels of the business\r\n\tWilling to travel extensively with regular overnight stays\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe package:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSalary dependent on experience\r\n\tBonus\r\n\tCompany car\r\n\tHealth care\r\n\tEnhanced pension contribution\r\n\tGenerous holiday allowance\r\n\r\n
